Why I started JVAN Services
I understand the overwhelming feeling of never having enough hours in the day. Balancing a full-time role, family life, and the demands of running a business can quickly become unsustainable, especially when backend operations and revenue-generating work are competing for your attention.
I’ve seen firsthand how a lack of structure leads to burnout, anxiety, and disorganization. In my previous roles, I didn’t just keep things moving; I created systems, implemented processes, and ensured operations ran smoothly and efficiently. Building order out of chaos has always been a core part of how I work, regardless of the size of the organization.
JVAN Services was created to bring that same level of operational leadership to small business owners who need clarity, structure, and sustainable systems—not more pressure or guesswork.
In addition, I obtained my Notary Public License in a previous role and made a conscious decision to integrate it into my brand. This allows me to provide accessible, affordable Notary Public services to my local community—meeting people where they are, with convenience and care.

About me, Jakia Durham Kelly.
Born and raised in Syracuse, with part of my childhood spent in Washington, DC. I’m a wife, a mother, and a lifelong lover of DIY projects and building things from the ground up.
I earned my associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Herkimer County Community College and my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Syracuse University. With over 10 years of experience supporting legal and administrative operations, I’ve built a strong foundation in organization, process development, and operational management.
Throughout my career, I discovered a deep passion for creating systems, improving workflows, and ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Today, that experience fuels the work I do as an Online Business Manager, helping entrepreneurs bring order, structure, and sustainability to their businesses.
My Vision
I envision JVAN Services growing into a nationwide leader in operations management. One that helps small business owners scale sustainably through strong systems, clear structure, and community-driven support. Beyond client work, my long-term goal is to train and mentor other Online Business Managers and create hands-on community workshops where entrepreneurs can learn, collaborate, and build businesses designed for long-term success.
